Covid 19 Update Monday 4th January 2021
We would like to inform you that the our retail shop will be closed for customers due to Government Tier 4 restrictions. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, but we are otherwise open for business as usual responding to your calls, emails, completing quotations, requests and works under Covid safe conditions.
Pre-arranged collections from our loading bay stillages will continue as well as agreed deliveries.
We are grateful for your continued support during this period, wishing that you all remain safe.
We will be taking extra precautions for customer and staff safety and appreciate your patience while we get ourselves up and running again after the forced closure of the shop.
We will continue to complete all other works as well as emergency boarding call outs as agreed. Our Emergency boarding services will continue to operate on a 24 hour basis for both commercial and domestic clients. We are really looking forward to seeing all our previous customers and new ones.
COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It’s caused by a virus called coronavirus.
Clients/customers suffering from symptoms will have appointments revoked or rescheduled within a 4 week period where applicable we will try and provide estimates by phone or email.
Elderly and vulnerable clients should not attend our offices at all.
Home visits will only be made if urgent and assessed on a case by case basis
We will not visit clients:-
- If they have returned from travel to an affected country in the past 14 days
- if they have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for coronavirus
- if they are displaying any of the symptoms associated with coronavirus – fever, cough, shortness of breath

What can we do together?
The elderly and those with chronic health problems are most at risk from this new infection. Please keep an extra special eye out for them and do whatever you can to help keep them safe and well.
Please follow official guidance and isolate yourself if you have:
- A fever
- A persistent cough
- Been in contact with someone who has Covid-19We will be reviewing the situation on a regular basis to ensure we protect everyone during this crisis.
Dunstable Glass have issued internal guidance to all employees notifying them of their responsibilities to assist the company to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. This includes maintaining the very high levels of hygiene to keep the chance of contamination to an absolute minimum.
