At Dunstable Glass & Glazing we apply safety backing film on the reverse of the mirror for safety in the event of accidents. If the mirror was to break it is important to prevent injury so we ensure that the safety film is fully compliant to BS EN 12600 for full frontal impact in a business to business environment.

What this means is that the broken mirror fragments will remain stuck to the safety film in the event of the mirror breaking. In doing so, it reduced the threat of someone injuring themselves with the broken glass mirror.

We are fully compliant to Health and Safety legislation and ensure that our staff wear wrist guards, gloves and goggles when working with raw cut glass. We fully advise that you take due care in selecting your commercial mirror supplier and installer.
